The Algorithm’s Bias: How Social Media Shapes Our Opinions and the Information We Consume

This is a persuasive paper which is the final part of the overall series of assignments in which I first had to create a research proposal(Assignment 1), and then an informative paper(Assignment 3). 

I will provide both of these assignments so you can take a look at how it is going so far and I believe you will also need to use/can take some ideas from these earlier assignments. I will also provide the grading for these assignemnts so you can see how the grading worked so far. 

In addition I will provide the instructions for the aversial and collegial persuasion models(Present in lecture slides) as the instructor wants us to follow one of those models to write this essay. 

15-20 sources seem to be sufficient for this essay. 

The audience of my persuasive paper is regular social media users. Some of them use it to stay updated about daily events while others use it to stay connected with their friends and family. While doing so, my audience is presented with content on their social media account’s news feed.

C : My audience is well-aware about social media networks as many of them use it for varying needs.
A : I will capture their attention with well presented and sorted information that will keep them engaged.
M : The motivation will be getting educated about and being in control of what they consume to better use social media.
P : Since I am a heavy social media user, my goal is the same goal I want my audience to have, which is consuming any online content with caution and being the one in control. 

Please use only reputed peer-reviewed scholarly articles, trusted news sources, and highly repetivitve sources for the essay. In case you will have to use blogs or other articles, use only when needed and try to keep it to a minimum as professor wants highly reputed sources only.
