This paper is for CIT in police academy or for police officers so there are always CIT officers available to respond to mental health related calls, like emotionally distrubed persons. The paper should have arguments for CIT training in police while also adressing some arguments against it. I have added the detailed instructions and a rough outline, these points are not final but they should guide the paper, I have also included a few references, not all need to be used, there are just a few that support the ideas and themes of the paper, one is a podcast that I DO NOT want to use, I just thought the argument was helpful. This paper is for a social work master’s class.
