Then I am trying to get you to see and explain what a person would do (in real-life) to show or demonstrate that they are using the SOC theory. Finally, I’m hoping that you will also see that SOC is considered to be a way of planning and strategizing when faced with limitations and physical obstacles. In the recommended article by Carpentieri & Elliot et al (2017), you can see some qualitative data to show how older adults actually talk about these actions.
