The purpose of this writing assignment is to compare what your textbook states, what the media depicts, and what a person who is or has worked in the courts have to say about the jobs, interactions, and performance of those professionals working in the criminal courts.
Watch a moive/show/video and compare the similarities, differences, or both to real courts
To complete this assignment you will need to view a “Criminal Court” themed television show or movie and report on the comparisons between what “Hollywood” and the textbook present about the criminal courts.
The choice of what show or movie you view is up to you. Just be sure that it focuses directly on the criminal courts and is of sufficient length and detail to answer all of the required questions. In particular, you will need to identify at least three different issues, depictions, or concepts of criminal courts that you will use for comparative purposes between the movie/show, and the textbook.
