The purpose of this paper is to develop and demonstrate your awareness of either beginning of life or end of life practices. Your work must include academic research, but you can also incorporate personal observation, knowledge and/or experience. Remember, if you incorporate personal observation, knowledge and/or experience, they must be supported by credible academic research as you are not an expert on the field of nursing.
This is my topic: – accommodating alternate cultural views around caring for the parents and child before and after birth (maybe you can talk about the South Asians but the cultural group has to be a part of the population in Ontario)
• choose a cultural group that is part of the population in Ontario
• explore the traditional practices this group engages in before and after childbirth
• address ways in which these practices can be respected and/or incorporated into a maternity setting

Mandatory Requirements
• 2-3 pages (750-900 words) double spaced, not including the reference list.
• A correctly formatted title page must be included. The paper is to be double-spaced and written in 12 point, Times New Roman font.
• Your essay should have an introduction, a body which supports your introduction, and a conclusion that relates back to it.
• All proofs and supporting points must be cited and referenced.
• APA format, 7th edition, for all in-text citations and the reference list.
• A minimum of three quality sources from journal articles, textbooks, interviews or credible web-sites (WHO, Health Canada) is required. I expect you to use academic databases when doing the research for this paper. (CINAHL, Medline etc.)
