The purpose of this assignment is meant to be a really rough draft!! No need tobe formal, no extensive vocabulary unless you’re citing something.
This is a small assignment part of a big project, were still in the works of figuring out how we want to discuss, analyze, or comment on these chosen sources for the final project. Keep in mind, the final project will be in conference presentation style. Start with ideas on how I will further explore the topic of how the level of academic and athletic motivation impact a student athlete, then weave in the sources that I have provided.
I have already created an annotated bibliography for two sources that I’ve attached, review the work and explore the citation. I will attach another link that will help you explore more on this topic.
Consider letting the following prompts guide your thinking, but you do NOT need to respond to each or any of them:
How do your sources’ ideas about your topic correspond to what you already know and believe? Which sources challenge and which affirm your own ideas about your topic?
Based on what you’re learning from your first sources, how would you answer your central question at this point? How do your sources help you do that? (Also, if these first sources inspired you to shift or modify your question, explain that evolution.)
What questions remain for you to answer and what new questions have been generated by the sources you’ve found so far?
The submission can be blurbs, lists, bullet points, paragraphs, or whatever else is helpful to conceptualizing how you will represent what you have to say whileyou discuss the sources.
