Assignment & Rubric
I. Locate a CPG for an area of your interest. In references list complete bibliographic
information and the specific link to the CPG. (The link should take you directly to the CPG).
The CPG should be current having been updated in last 10 years.
II. Complete the Rapid Appraisal of a CPG (Appendix B11). Discuss the appraisal in narrative
using the headings from rapid appraisal—Credibility and Applicability/Generalizability.
III. Describe a situation where the CPG could be implemented. State a) the Problem, b)
use/application, and c) desired outcome/evaluation.
IV. Summarize the Appraisal/Application with main points and your final recommendation.
V. Length of paper is approximately 5 pages, not counting title page, references. Also attach
the CPG (pdf) and completed B11 form.
