This Research Presentation: Part 4 – Narrated PowerPoint Assignment is expected to be completed in PowerPoint and be narrated (your voice describing the content). Your narration should not be read from a script, but rather you are expected to narrate it as if you were giving a presentation live at a conference or in the classroom setting. Please include the following slides in your Research Presentation: Part 4 – Narrated
PowerPoint Assignment:
– Introductory slide that tells the audience the purpose of the presentation and the topic that will be explored.
– Slide(s) describing the current state of the research in your area. This will include discussion of relevant concepts and studies, as well as what the overall conclusions on your topic are currently.
– Slide(s) describing a biblical discussion of your topic. This should include Scripture and ways to examine/understand the constructs being reviewed.
– Slides(s) describing gaps in the research that need to be studied further (which leads into your proposed study).
– Slides(s) describing a proposed study that would further the research in this area. This discussion of a proposed study should include the following:
o  Purpose of the proposed study.
o  Proposed Research Questions of the proposed study.
o  Proposed Method to collect data to answer the research questions (including a description of participants, measures to be used, interventions/experimental manipulations employed, interview questions asked (if qualitative), etc.).
o  How the findings from this study would further the research area.
– Concluding slide that provides a summary and conclusion to your presentation.
– References slide(s).
The Research Presentation: Part 4 – Narrated PowerPoint Assignment should be clear and
include information on the slides that helps the audience follow the argument made in your
narration. Also, transitions between slides should be made in a way that helps guide the audience
along the argument you are making for your research area. As you are preparing this Research
Presentation: Part 4 – Narrated PowerPoint Assignment, imagine you have been asked to give a talk on the current state of the research topic and how to further the research area. Your presentation is expected to be 30-45 minutes in length.

2) Slides that clearly describe the current state of the research in your area. 3) Slide(s) describing a biblical discussion of your topic. 
4) Slide(s) that describe what gaps remain, as well as the need for the study you are proposing. 
5) Clear and concise purpose statement for your proposed study. 
6) Clearly presented Research Questions.
7) A clear discussion of your proposed research methodology is present. 
8) Concluding slide that provides a summary and conclusion of your presentation. 
9) Clear, conversational narration throughout the presentation (no reading of script).
Content:
The PowerPoint exceeds content organization requirements: 
1) Content is presented in a clear, concise, and logical way. 
2) Transition statements are used effectively when moving from one idea to the next. 
3) Narration is clear and conversational (as if giving the presentation at a conference or in front of a live audience).as if giving the presentation at a conference or in front of a live audience).

Structure:
The PowerPoint exceeds structure requirements: 
1) PowerPoint is presented in a scholarly style. 
2) Appropriate grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and punctuation are used.
