Review the Interrupters resource guide and do a critical reflection. The guide is a great resource for understanding the complexities of inner-city communities. Towards the back of the guide (pages 8–10) is a section called Resource Organizations. That list of resource organizations represents the national and local organizations committed to ending violence ad the root causes that breed it. For this assignment, review the list, then research two of those community resource organizations.
For the purposes of this assignment, please select TWO of the organizations, research them, learn about them, and then report on your findings. For your report, write a full two-page (double-spaced) reflection discussing the organizations you selected, addressing what you thought was interesting and/or unique about the organizations, and then discussing how they could help with inner-city problems. Finally, conclude with a connection between each of the organizations and your life, i.e., how do the organization’s goals align with your career goals? Please make your thoughts clear and concise. A well-written paper shall include a strong connection to the organization. Please include several “I,” “me,” and “my” statements along with your personal opinion or response to the organization.
You must properly cite the organizations you selected AND the film in an APA format as sources at the end of your paper on a works cited page. You must also include a title page at the beginning. The title page will have the name of the assignment, your name, the class, the section number, the date, and your instructor’s name centered on the page.
