A. Do some research about your favorite women’s sport (if you don’t have one, maybe think about the women’s teams for your favorite men’s sport) to see what kinds of gender inequalities there are. You can think about media representation, the pay gap, league rules and regulations, who gets airtime, when they get it and on what networks, etc. Remember to include a question for your classmates in your post.
B. The historical pressure to say no to sex has been replaced by a new pressure to say yes. In your experience, is this true? At what age does it begin? How does this imperative manifest itself? Does it apply to everyone equally? What does it feel like? How do individuals navigate this new imperative? Is it better or worse than the pressure to say no? If this isn’t sexual liberation, what would sexual liberation look like? Include a question for your classmates in your post.
