FORMAT OF PAPER
The paper (3-5 pages, excluding title page and reference page) must be type double-spaced with1-inch margins on all sides in 12-point font in American Psychological Association format andcompletely referenced. Paper needs to have an introduction, body (with sections delineated by clear transition sentences), conclusion, and a reference page.
The paper should include (not necessarily in this order):
1. Introduction
A. Outline the content and organization of your paper.
B. Give a brief overview of the focus relative to experience in the class, insight gained in
discussions, reading, or skills practice, areas of special interest, etc…
2. Reflections
A. Insights gained from class discussion, readings, practice, etc…
B. Areas of personal strengths and limitations identified.
C. Areas of special interests identified.
D. Plans for personal and professional growth relative to career objectives.
E. Include integration of faith in development of career objectives and plan.
3. Conclusion (Summarize content and formulate conclusion relative to personal and professional
growth plans.
4. References (Even though this is a personal reflection paper, be sure and support your ideas with
references to any research or text material. Opinions matter more in this type of paper; however,
demonstrate that you have critically evaluated your current position based on current research.B. Give a brief overview of the focus relative to experience in the class, insight gained in
discussions, reading, or skills practice, areas of special interest, etc…
