Felon Voting Disenfranchisement in Mississippi: Podcast Outline, Synthesis Matrix, and Podcast Script

Part 1.

For the response, use the outline format to create an outline for your podcast episode. Then, draft your intro, outro, and call to action. I am not requiring you to draft your segues because you will need to gather your materials (interviews, sound clips, etc.) over the next week or so. Still, remember that your segues should relate to that content. Think of them as transitions in a traditional written essay. You want to be sure that your podcast flows together from start to finish, and the segues do a lot of work keeping the narrative moving.
Part 2.
Synthesis Matrix
The point of a synthesis map or matrix is to organize information from your sources. It can be used to create or in place of an outline.
To complete this part of your response, you will first need to locate, read through, and take notes on your sources. This might include print articles, podcasts, videos, or interviews.
When working through your sources, identify the main ideas from each source, and save important quotes that provide unique takes or evidence that support each idea. In the matrix below, list each main idea. Then, add the unique supporting evidence that the source provides. Ideally, some of the main ideas across your sources should overlap when dealing with your topic. They may offer unique details that you do not find in other sources, or they may take different positions on the issue. If they do not, you may be approaching your topic too broadly, and you might need to narrow your topic and sources.
For further details about synthesis mapping or creating a synthesis matrix, consult this video: https://youtu.be/_13GGEhi99ghttps://youtu.be/_13GGEhi99g
Please develop the outline, synthesis matrix, and lastly, a podcast script for me to read for the actual podcast recording. The podcast should be about “historic and contemporary voting disenfranchisement in Mississippi” with a focus on felons.
You must include 3 main points. The 1st point may be about historic voting disenfranchisement trends in MS, the 2nd point may be about contemporary voting disenfranchisement trends in MS (mostly ones that are similar to historic trends), and the 3rd point may be about voter disenfranchisement as it relates to felons or felons in MS. Please follow the outline from the link in part 1 of assignment instructions and include smooth transitions between ideas.
