Create a research proposal for your project. This should be 1,500 words; therefore, you will need to keep this proposal brief, clear and to the point.
This research proposal will form the blueprint for you to follow when undertaking your project.
Content for Research Proposal:
1. Research Background/Rationale (Why study this topic? Why do you think it is
important, useful, or relevant? Discuss the nature and context of the topic and provide evidence justifying why it is important to study?).
2. Aims and Objectives (Provide 2 aims and 4 to 6 objectives).
3. Hypothesis Development and Conceptual Framework (Discuss the concepts that are relevant for understanding your research topic and justify the relationships between those concepts – leading to 3 to 6 hypotheses. Provide a diagram to show the relationships of the different concepts)
4. Research Methodology (Justify your research philosophy, approach, and design.
Discuss your data collection process including the sampling method – Note the
minimum sample size is 100. Discuss your data analysis tool(s). Describe what ethical
issues that you will consider)
5. Limitations (Identify any limitations that you anticipate)
6. Research Schedule showing target competition date for each task or activity
