Provide a 2000 to 2500 word assessment of any current Canadian program/initiative that involves/utilizes a community justice restorative approach. Supplemented by class readings and individual research, your paper should demonstrate the ways in which your chosen initiative addresses the needs of victims, offenders and community, while circumventing the negative practices and impacts associated with punitive responses. The assessment should highlight the ways the initiative connects to the five core elements of community justice as identified by Karp and Clear and taught during the course.
