“How do RTAs e-commerce rules affect digital service exports? – Empirical analysis based on RCEP member states”
E-commerce provisions, as one of the most traditional issues, have an important position in digital trade rule-making, mainly involving a series of provisions to simplify electronic transaction procedures and promote digital trade facilitation. This study intends to take RCEP member countries as the object of analysis and study the effect of e-commerce provisions on digital service exports, and then make suggestions for RCEP member countries to further improve digital trade rule-making and enhance the competitiveness of digital service exports. Based on the above background, this study needs to focus on combing the following three types of literature. (1) research on the impact effect of regional trade agreements on exports; (2) research on the impact of signing trade agreements containing e-commerce provisions on trade in services; (3) research on the content and text quantification of e-commerce provisions in regional trade agreements. This study needs to focus on the following questions: Can e-commerce provisions promote the export of digital services? Does the impact effect vary by country, by service sector, by type of agreement and by subdivision of provisions?
this is the requirement of my thesis : From the title of the paper, your focus is mainly on three aspects:
1. E-commerce rules under the RTA framework, involving text analysis and measurement of e-commerce rules to understand the development trends of e-commerce rules, RTAs agreements signed among RCEP member countries, and the development status of e-commerce rules under these agreements.
2. Digital service exports, involving the importance, current situation analysis, and analysis of influencing factors of the research object. Why study digital service exports? What is the development trend of digital service exports in China and APEC member countries? What existing literature has done research on this? What factors will affect digital service exports? Will e-commerce rules affect digital service exports? How big is the effect？ What is the mechanism?
3. Analysis of RCEP member countries. Why choose RCEP member countries as the research object? Introduce the basic situation of RCEP member countries, including which countries they are and their position in the global economy. What existing literature has been analyzed regarding RCEP member countries? Is there any relevant research on digital service trade in RCEP member countries? Furthermore, is there any research on how e-commerce rules affect digital service exports from RCEP member countries?
The main body of your paper should systematically explore these issues, forming the backbone of your research.
