As per your assigned topic, you are required to assume the role and position of your assigned topic, despite your own personal bias. Each week, two students will be assigned a topic. One will be assigned the PRO stance (In support) and the other the CON stance (Not in Suport) Please DO NOT SHARE your own personal bias or opinion with regards to this assignment. You are required to research the assigned topic and post your findings. See below.
Assigned Debater: Post Your Findings:
1. Provide an Opening Statement consisting of a minimum of 300 words that support your assigned position: ie. I support the …. Or I do not support the…… due to…..
2. Provide a minimum of 5 bulleted facts for your PRO or CON stance as per reputable sources. Please use bullet points (Cite each bulled fact as per APA and include a reference page). Each bulleted fact must be a minimum of 200 words.
3. Include a Closing Statement consisting of a minimum of 300 words that support your assigned position. It should NOT be the same as your opening statement.
4. Each Debater is required to respond to ALL peers, rebutting their peer’s findings. Each Debater must rebut their peers viewpoint by citing a well-researched fact as per APA citation and Reference. Each response to each peer must be a minimum of 200 words.
