Similar to your challenges 1 and 2, visit your favorite liquor or grocery store, purchase a mix and match 12 pack that allows you to sample at least 6 different brewers, or 6 different wines from at least 3 different wineries, or 3 different spirits of your choice but stick with the same type — i.e. for Tequila you could do Jose Cuervo Anejo, Cazadores Anejo, Patron Anejo.
No matter the option you choose, you will complete a roughly 1500 word essay detailing each establishment you chose a beverage from. Write about your experiences. Be courteous on your assessments. Do some background research on the establishments; cite where appropriate. Draw on your readings and themes that you noticed throughout the class — agriculture, economy, politics, cultural customs. Did this class expand your horizons on the intricacies involved in these industries?
