In answering this question, focus on ONE recent law or policy (one that has been in place and/or proposed within the last ~10 years) that proclaims to be neutral. The law or policy can be local, state, or federal (nothing international/beyond the country level). Be sure to argue:• Whether the law/policy is neutral towards multiple different identities• Whether the law/policy is necessary and/or appropriate• How neutrality factors into its necessity and/or appropriateness
