This is straight from the assingment sheet:
Write a 5–8-page paper in which you describe and articulate what you consider to be your own, personal “context.” How do you situate yourself? What is your “here”? You may find it useful to include some biographical information (but you certainly don’t have to), but I am not looking for an autobiography that merely chronicles the events of your life. I also understand that some may be hesitant to provide any personal details; I respect that. How you choose to address the assignment is extremely flexible. You may want to write something like a journal, in which you express your thoughts and reactions to the issues we have considered during the semester. You even could compose a short story that somehow reflects who you are. Be creative and draw on anything you consider pertinent. Taylor the assignment to your strengths. Explore, wrestle, indulge, vent; all I ask is that you engage in some honest, thoughtful reflection. What matters to you?
