*THIS IS A CONCEPTUAL RESEARCH*
The goal of this research project is to produce a conceptual research paper that investigates the challenges and practices that middle school teachers face in advancing an inclusive curriculum. The study will be based on a review of 25 literature sources that specifically focus on this topic.
The research will address the following questions:
1. What are the current practices employed by middle school teachers when implementing an inclusive curriculum?
2. What challenges do middle school teachers encounter while attempting to implement an inclusive curriculum?
3. What effective strategies can be employed by inclusive education programs to promote an inclusive curriculum?
The study will employ a conceptual framework grounded in social justice and equity theory.
