To prepare for this assignment, we recommend that you begin reading the case study and start doing outside research on Tesla.

The company has a strong brand identity and a reputation for innovation, but it also faces challenges such as production delays and safety concerns. By conducting a SWOT analysis, you will gain a deeper understanding of Tesla’s position in the market and the opportunities and threats it faces.
Instructions: To prepare for the Week Two Individual Assignment, please follow these steps:
- Begin reading the case study on Tesla provided in your textbook, Case 1: “Tesla Races Ahead With Nontraditional Marketing Strategy”.
- Start doing additional research on Tesla using outside sources such as news articles, industry reports, and other relevant sources.
- Make notes on Tesla’s marketing mix, corporate social responsibility, and future plans.
- Begin thinking about Tesla’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and how they might be addressed in a SWOT analysis.
