In this module, you learned about proteins and the potential health problems from eating a diet that is too high or too low in protein. In this assignment, you will use your Dietary Analysis Log from previous modules to analyze your protein intake. You will use the total grams of protein recorded in your dietary log to calculate the amount of kcalories and overall percent (%) from proteins consumed each day. For this assignment, locate the section titled, Dietary Proteins, and review the detailed instructions included in the document.


Submission Directions

For this assignment, you will be submitting the entire Dietary Log as a pdf file. To save your M6 submission in the correct format, please complete the following steps after you have entered the required information in the Dietary Log:

  1. Select Page Layout from the tabs in the toolbar, and under Orientation, make sure Landscape is selected.
  2. Select File and choose Save as a PDF.
  3. Select the Entire Workbook, then click Add to convert them to a PDF.
  4. Select Fit to Paper Width, and then click Convert to PDF.
  5. You will then be prompted to select a location to save the PDF file that is generated.
  6. Naming your file: Please use the following format: LastFirstModule#, for example the M6 assignment from student Tom Jones should be saved with the file name JonesTom6.pdf.


This assignment is worth 30 points and will be evaluated using the BIOL 115 Dietary Analysis Rubric which is available when you open the assignment.
