Does an athlete’s pre-game rituals help or are these just superstitious behaviours?

OVERVIEW

Purpose:

The purpose of this
assignment is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to
create a comprehensive Inquiry Based Outline, which is a detailed outline for a Term Paper the student may use to write a future research-based term paper. The Inquiry Based Outline is intended to provide students with a
pragmatic exercise in preparation of a detailed outline for a Term Paper that
answers a specific question in Psychology. Upon successful completion of
this assignment, students will be able to demonstrate their ability to create a
detailed Inquiry Based Outline for some future Term Paper.

Assignment:

Students must select a
topic from the list of twelve (12) psychology topic questions provided by your
instructor.  The Inquiry Based Outline
(i.e., a detailed outline for a Term Paper) must have at a minimum three (3)
sub-sections that must be supported by one (1) Academic (Peer Reviewed) Journal Article for each of the three
(3) sub-sections. The supporting Academic Journal Article should provide a
source of information discussed in the sub-section.

Your Annotated Bibliographies will have:

1)
An Introductory Paragraph provides
the reader with an overview of what the paper will be about.

2)
Three (3) Sub-sections with at
least one (1) Academic (Peer Reviewed)
Reference
for each sub-section.

3)
A very brief Conclusion that
summarizes why this information is important to understand.

4)
A Reference Page that lists all
academic sources used in alphabetical order by the surname of the lead
writer/researcher. Students must use the correct APA format prescribed by the
APA (7th Ed.) Manual.

It is essential that
your Inquiry Based Outline be well-organized
and facilitate a progressively building argument
(i.e., discussion), which
provides the reader with a sense of continuity between your sections.
