Unfortunately, your Task 7 is not ready for a re-review as several sections such as the Background of the Problem, Purpose Statement, and Research Questions do not meet the requirements stated in the Guide. Additionally, you want to address the following: – Past, Present, and Future Tense Verbiage: You want to write in the past tense when discussing what happened in the literature. See Section 4.13 and Table 4.1 in the APA Manual (7th ed.) for further guidance. You want to use future tense when discussing what you will do in your study. There should not be any present tense verbiage in your writing except in the problem statement. Correct these issues throughout this document. – Ensure you have full paragraphs. Two sentences do not constitute a paragraph. – Anthropomorphism: This is an anthropomorphism. An inanimate object cannot do human things or have thoughts. Researchers use research methods, designs, questions, etc., as the foundation for their study. See Section 4.11 on page 117 in the APA Manual (7th ed.). You want to remove anthropomorphisms from your writing. Correct this issue throughout this document. – Diversify your sources. Please direct your questions to your Chair.
