You can include your thoughts, feelings, or any of your sociological reflections and experiences. Analyze your topic/issue and articulate a clear argument of what you have learned. You must cite at least one academic source peer reviewed source.
- Reflect on the crimes that occur within society. Provide an example of one crime (behavior that violates official law) in detail. What are the root causes of the crime you selected? Describe the crime you selected from the view of one sociological/theoretical perspective in depth. Discuss the best solutions to reduce the crime from your example. In what ways can individuals and the government address the crime?
All requirements must be fulfilled to earn full points.
- Minimum 2 full pages (Do not exceed 2 pages). The journal should be be an organized essay and MUST be double spaced 12-point font, include a reference page (not included in the page count. Include a title page or only include the title on your document (do not include name, date, class, etc.). Your journal must be properly organized in paragraphs and/or headers. 15% deduction for not applying instructions.
- One Citation of an academic peer reviewed source (Sources may not be reused week-to-week. You can use the course textbook and additional course materials but they do not count as your required citation. Do not select a different textbook as your source.) Your citation should be included in your text and should be included at the end in your reference page. 3 points will be deducted for not including the proper source. Your citation(s) must be in APA or MLA format, choose one and be consistent.
- Upload your document directly to the assignment link.
Citations: You must include proper in text citations and a reference list at the end of your response. Citations should be in APA or MLA format only. Plagiarism will result in a FAIL for the assignment. Direct quotes can be used, but it is wise to stay away from them (with the exception of one to two sentences as a direct quote.) If your paper is majority direct quotes points will be deducted. You can use more than one citation. Not including proper intext citation(s) will result in 3 points deducted.
