Please see all attachments. The file titled EBP instructions should be reviewed first. I have already created a question to be addressed. I will only need an abstract (250 words), a
excel template filled in with article information (author, citation, summary of article, etc.), and lastly, a poster created on Powerpoint with research information that was collected
(1 pg, sections are already set up and you do not need to design it, I will add color)
Again, this is a nursing project. As a nurse, I need to recognize a problem and provide
solid evidence as to how to improve the problem within my scope of practice.
Here is some key information for evidence-based practice in nursing-
“Evidence-based practice is a scholarly problem-solving approach that aims to provide clinical care and improve health outcomes based on best evidence. This evidence includes nursing research that is grounded in the scientific method and aims to advance nursing knowledge.”
“In nursing practice, EBP has further been defined as a problem-solving approach to clinical practice that integrates a systematic search for and critical appraisal of the most relevant evidence to answer a compelling clinical question, one’s own professional expertise, and patient and family preferences and values.”
