Emotional intelligence, clear communication, strategic thinking, and adaptability are essential. Leaders must be capable of making tough decisions while demonstrating empathy and maintaining morale. Leadership is the process in which one or a collection of people guide and initiate the process towards the end goal with the objective of success no matter the field or job that is being done. Leadership in business or in any type of organization can be divided into many categories but they can all be placed into three main roles those being the role of the guide, the guide being the one showing the rest the way and how to properly get there, secondly the role of the teacher those who will take a more lay back approach to guiding by only showing and explaining but never doing the work themselves in order for the rest to better their skills, and lastly the role of the ruler those who use their position as a leader to ensure that everyone but themselves does the work while they reap the benefits. But that’s only how the roles work. Leadership in business isn’t so simple since being a leader requires not only strategic thinking and decision-making, but Leaders must also analyze complex situations, they must identify opportunities from risks, and they must make well informed decisions that align with the organization’s mission and vision while striving for success. In other words they must effectively manage, allocate and push towards constant innovation and change in a way that benefits not only himself, the team and the organization.
