– What is the story’s commentary about the desire for hegemonic power, the use of violence, and/or oppression?
– Why are these texts important to understand, or in other words, what is the social or cultural significance of these works
Requirements:
– To support your analysis/argument, provide textual evidence from the short story (in the form of concise, properly cited, quotes and/or paraphrase). You must use at least 3 secondary sources, but you will need to explore peer reviewed articles from a scholarly journal. (will attach secondary sources in files below)
– An annotated bibliography will be required
– This essay needs to be 5-6 FULL pages long
