1. Must be written in your own words and supported by the scientific evidence and research in textbook language.
Emphasis of write up should be on the microbiological aspects not on personnel experience(s). YOUR SUBMISSION MUST BE OF ADEQUATE LENGTH (two full paragraphs i.e., minimum of about 300 words) excluding references/citations.
2. Give full reference(s) ONLY from a peer reviewed Journal whenever you quote. (VERY IMPORTANT). DO NOT INCLUDE INCOMPLETE REFERENCES (For instance, a references without name of author(s)/ Journal or title or just posted on the internet (i.e., www… https:// sources).
3. Internet references unless specifically asked (www… http…) are strictly prohibited. If you give www…. web reference, or an incomplete reference you will be penalized as described in the rubrics.
4. An acceptable reference must have following components.
1. Name of author(s) in a peer reviewed article
2. Full title of an article
3. Name of Scientific journal/Book/Textbook
4. Year of publication
5. Volume if any and page numbers
Rubric for Summary & Reflection:
1. Quality submission that addresses all aspects of topic with emphasis on the microbiological and value added information. (without any grammatical mistake) – 50% .
2. References and citation : 50%. Your submission must have a minimum of three references of peer reviewed articles. If a link is asked to add then consider that as an additional reference. A link will not substitute a “peer reviewed reference”.
