Report + Data Analysis (Quality vs Quantity in the App Store – What Matters More?)
What matters more in the app store, quality or quantity?
Specifically, you′ll be exploring the drivers of the number of downloads and average rating of apps on the Google App Store. A dataset has been provided.
Task includes:
Data Analysis: Examine the dataset thoroughly. Identify trends, correlations, outliers, and any other interesting information. Consider elements such as the number of downloads, user ratings, app categories, developer details, etc.
You can also incorporate additional relevant data from other credible sources if necessary.
Insights & Conclusions: Based on the analysis, draw insights about what drives the number of downloads and the average rating of apps on the Google app store. Understand and explain the importance of both these factors.
Recommendations: Based on your findings, provide recommendations for app developers. Should they focus more on increasing the number of downloads or improving the average rating of their app? Defend your stance with the evidence obtained from your data analysis.
Please note that the report should be no more than 2,500 words and no less than 2,000 words. Ensure your work is properly structured, with a clear introduction, a comprehensive analysis section, robust conclusions, and well-founded recommendations. Include any graphs or charts you′ve created during your data analysis, as they can help support your points and make the information more digestible.
