Each participant is required to complete a Capstone Portfolio.
Instructions:
You will be compiling a Case Study PowerPoint Presentation periodically throughout the course. There will be Four (4) total submission checkpoints: at the end of Week 1, Week 2 Week 3, Week 4. Each checkpoint submission will be worth 20 points, with a total of 80 points for your Capstone Portfolio. You must submit at least 2-3 PowerPoint slides for the guidelines provided by each bi-weekly checkpoint; your final Capstone Portfolio Case Study PowerPoint must have a minimum at least 9 slides.
Your Capstone Portfolio Case Study will focus on one ELL student. You may focus on one in your own class or use one of the student profiles provided below. Note: Please use one of the student profiles provided please.

Due by the end of Week 3
Discuss what miscommunications may arise when communicating and supporting ELL parent/s/guardians; be specific to your student’s language and culture. (at least 1 slide)
Share ways in which you could (or do) accommodate your student’s parent/s/guardians; be specific to their culture. Use details in which strategies you would use to communicate frequently with the parent/s/guardians on a regular basis. (at least 1 slide)
Make sure to cite all resources in APA-style format.
