Students are required to answer specific questions from the supplemental text by Michael Schaller, et al, Reading American Horizons: Primary Sources for US History in a Global Context, Volume I to 1877. Fourth Edition. New York: Oxford University Press, 2020.
Students must write the title of the document on top of the page to indicate which document is being addressed, and then follow question-and answer format. The questions must be answered thoroughly and must comprise at least one full page per document, therefore as a whole the report must be at least 10 pages in length.
This work must include a cover page with student information, specific class section, and date; double-spaced; regular 12 font; and spelled-checked for typos and grammatical errors. Student must cite material used from this book in an appropriate manner– in this case by using any standard method of citation used in colleges and universities. Failure to properly cite information from this book will result in a grade not exceeding 40.
