Abstract 2. Declaration 3. Acknowledgements 4. Table of Contents 5. Chapter One: Introduction 6. Chapter Two: Literature Review Chapter two should include a detailed Literature Review. The Literature Review must be based on research studies published in academic refereed journals and not textbooks. The Literature Review should provide an up-to-date overview of current and past debates in your research area. This chapter should be clearly distinguished from your Introduction. 7. Chapter Three: Methodology Chapter three should include a detailed analysis of the methodology adopted for the study with frequent references to the research problems/questions identified in chapter one. Reasons for choosing the current methods of study should be discussed, with a brief explanation of why other alternative methods have not been adopted. Literature support/justification of the variables tested should be provided. 8. Chapter Four: Data Analysis and Findings Chapter four should discuss the findings of the study in detail. A summary of results should be provided. The discussion should point out the differences and similarities between your results and those of the other researchers and the results that might be expected from existing theoretical frameworks reviewed in the literature review chapter. The significance and transferability of the findings should be assessed. 9. Chapter Five: Discussion and Conclusion Chapter five should obtain an overall summary and give the conclusions drawn from the work. In the conclusions section, a reference should be made to the objectives and/or questions identified in chapter one, indicating the extent to which those questions have been answered in the dissertation. A section on recommendations for further research should also be included in this chapter as well as the limitations of the research. 10. References A full list of references used within the dissertation should be placed after the final chapter utilising the Harvard Reference System. 11. Appendices Appendices (if any and where appropriate) should follow the references. Appendices should be numbered A, B, etc.
