1,000 to 1,500 words not counting a cover page and reference list.
Format: APA, Chicago, or MLA (it doesn’t matter which you use).
Include a cover page with a creative title and your name.
Use in-text citations to support points.
Include a reference list of all materials used.

Part 1: (500 to 750 words)

Identify and discuss 3 main themes or concepts that are central to the historical development of the U.S.

Choose whichever three themes you would like. Be specific and detailed in your discussion.

Provide clear examples to support your thoughts.

I would like this paper to address PRIMITIVE ACCUMILATION, RACISM, and the US’s attempt at

RECONSTRUCTION

Part 2: (500 to 750)

Choose one of the themes from part 1. Discuss how these themes continue to influence U.S. society today. Provide examples from today’s media, events, and more to support your points. In other words, explain how past events reappear in the U.S. today. Find at least one piece of media (e.g. news article, video, etc.) that discusses the theme in contemporary U.S. society.

Discuss the theme using resources from class and the media you select.

I choose the theme: CAPITALISM.

I would find an article or video that discusses labor issues, and economic injustice in the U.S.. I would then use the article/video to discuss how classism shows up in U.S. history, and how it shows up in the present.
