Learning Goal: I’m working on a biology discussion question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
Cells come in all shapes and sizes, but remain mostly small. This small world is often referred to as “the microbial world”. Microbes are more than just cells. The term “microbe” is also used for describing non-living things, such as viruses. Using the provided link below, read up on all the categories (as pictured). Click on them and it will take you to each page. Then, use the questions to craft your discussion post.

Answer the following questions in your discussion post:
- Pick two of the microbes and describe how they are structurally different.
- Describe one thing/fact/description you noticed that are common to most or all of the microbes. (There are multiple answers here)
- What is a piece of information that you learned by reading this What is Microbiology? page?
