Students are required to submit a Journal Article that reports the findings from their Professional Project.
The Journal Article should be presented in the style of the “Journal of Public Health” instructions for authors | Journal of Public Health | Oxford Academic (oup.com)Links to an external site.
Articles should contain the following sections:
- Cover Page
- Abstract (not exceeding 250 words)
- Introduction
- Project Design and Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- References
- Tables and Figure
- Legends
Word count = 4,000 words (±10%, excluding title page, acknowledgements, tables, figures, and references).
Original articles (Eg Service evaluations, study protocols, audits, etc.) & systematic reviews should contain no more than 40 references & no more than a combination of 4 tables and/or figures.
Scoping reviews & literature reviews should contain no more than 100 references & no more than a combination of 7 tables and/or figures.
The Journal Article should be anonymised (as far as possible) so that individuals, teams and organisations are not identifiable.
