Learning Goal: I’m working on a writing project and need a sample draft to help me learn.

This assignment calls on you to consider the ongoing conversation surrounding the topic that is the focus of your MGRP. The purpose of composing the MGRP is to add to the ongoing conversation, but before you can add to the conversation, you have to be fully aware of what the conversation is; in other words, who has already said what about the topic?

This assignment is called a “working� bibliography because you may add or delete sources as you continue working on your MGRP. For the purposes of this assignment, however, your Annotated Bibliography will include a minimum of three sources.

Each entry (source) in your bibliography should include the following:

  • Relevant bibliographic information in APA format
  • Identification of the author’s purpose and claim
  • A short summary
  • An evaluation for reliability and relevance
  • A short explanation of how this source will help you with your MGRP

Remember to revise and edit before submitting your polished draft.
