Assignment 4: Special Topics Paper (Individual)

With this assignment, you will have the opportunity to explore, research and write a paper on any of the social justice topics that were covered during this course. You are asked to identify an issue, provide a thesis statement, a clear introduction, body with evidence and conclusion. The body should include a brief paragraph on your position, supported using the theoretical underpinnings and concepts discussed during this course. You may draw on Units 1-8 lectures, discussions and readings(will provide this below)  to guide and inform your understanding of the various principles of the topic. You should engage critically with the course materials as well as include a minimum of five scholarly sources (in addition to the course readings).

You are required to post an outline of your research paper by July 30 @ 11.55pm. (will provide this)

Your completed assignment must be uploaded to Moodle by the date and time indicated on the activities schedule. Your submitted assignments must follow the most recent version of APA formatting and referencing. Grading for this assignment will be based on the learning outcomes as listed on the Assessment matrix.

Length: 1500 words (+/- 10%), excluding references and title page.
