My literature review and methodology have been completed and need to be revised. i will attach things that need to be fixed below.
This is a good start to your literature review. Your paper is well
written. A few comments:
1.
Make sure you have an introductory paragraph to introduce your topic and pull
your reader in.
2.
You need to cite quite a bit more throughout. Even if you have already cited
once in a paragraph, you still need in-text citations after statements
providing the results.
3.
You overviewed each article you found well, but you can cut these down a bit.
Unless absolutely connected to your proposal, you can take out information on
the methodology and results that aren’t related to your topic.
4.
Make sure you add transitions as you go from study to study. Rather than 5
separate annotated bibliographies you need to connect the studies together and
also add from time to time how they relate to the current proposal.
5.
Toward the end on page 5, you can say “The previously cited studies
suggest a strong link…”
6.
The last paragraph needs to include your research question, IV, DV, and
hypothesis as overviewed in the instructions.
Methodology:
1. I like that
you added subheadings. Your methods section was well organized.
2. If you feel the
beginning of the methods section is too redundant with your research statement
paragraph at the end of your literature review, feel free to cut this down.
3. Include what you expect
to find demographically..e.g, what might be the ages of the women and
ethnicities.
4. I love that you have
scales. I would include a sample question for each if you have them and also
provide in-text citations for them.
5. The procedures section
doesn’t have to be numbered, but I do like how clear this was.
Combine both papers after revisions
***** final research proposal should include a title page, revised Introduction
section, revised methods section, discussion, and references. You should
include at least five citations. Continue to utilize Appendix A in your text,
your APA Manual, and the Purdue OWL website to assist you in formatting your
paper. A rubric for the final paper is also included.
- The discussion
section will include (a) how your study is related to real-world
experiences, (b) strengths and limitations of your study, and (c) ideas
for future research. This section should be roughly two pages in length.*****
