This essay is for my Enlightened Fictions: Dreams Nightmares and Ideas of Europe essay so it should be influenced by the ideas of Enlightenment and other culture in the 18th century to back uup the overall argument. I would like this essay to be on Helen Maria Williams, Letters Written from France in the Summer of 1790 (1791) and Laclos, Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. It has to have a clear line of argument, close reading on the primary texts, engagement with critical analysis on secondary texts and evidence of wider reading with secondary sources and contextual works.
