Paper context
Introduction:
-What is the topic of the article, and why was it important? Who wrote the article?
-Introduce and describe the disorder
-What is the purpose or goal of the study being described?
-Do the authors make specific hypothesis? If so, what are they?
Study Design:
-Who were the subjects/participants?
-Describe the methods/procedures used.
Results:
-What were the main findings?
-Did the findings supports the researchers’ hypothese?
-What do the researchers conclude based on these findings?
Critical Review:
-Describe at least one strength and one limitation you recognize in the study’s design, results, or conclusion. Propose how these issues could have been addressed to improve the research study.
-How is the study significant to the field of physiological psychology? In other words, what gaps in knowledge does the study help to fill? What gaps of knowledge of what questions still remain?
Metacognitive Review:
-Identify at least 3 specific things (facts, ideas, etc) that you learned about the topic by reading this article.
-Explain how what you’ve read in this article fits in with what you know from class notes and the text (be specific). How is the brain behavior connection highlighted in this study?
Conclusion:
-Summarize the research article and your review of its quality and significance.
Do not quote the article- use your own words to explain it
Formatting:
-The paper will be in a word document, APA style, including title page, reference page, and 1500 words for the content of the paper.
