Reengineering has been used widely in many industries to improve cost, quality, and efficiency.
Reengineering involves designing and implementing the most efficient and critical processes of
an organization. For this assignment, read “St. John’s Reengineering� case in the Walston
Strategic Healthcare Management: Planning and Execution course text. Process improvement in
the healthcare industry often require processes of change. This assignment provides an
understanding of the issues and processes associated with implementing a change process in a
healthcare organization.
INSTRUCTIONS
You will write a 5-6 page paper in current APA format that addresses the case questions given in
the assignment. Your paper must be supplemented with research from your course textbooks
(Walston – Strategic Healthcare Management: Planning and Execution, and Wayland &
McDonald – Strategic Analysis for Healthcare: Concepts and Practical Applications), and at
