I want you to analyse how the Fandom Forward organization creates social change with fan activism through the mobilization of the passion for pop culture (of the organizations members). communities and their cultural significance. thesis statement: This paper explores how the fandom forward organization mobilizes their members by using their passion for pop culture to achieve positve social change and engagement. Questions for inspiration: does fan activism through the passion for pop culture even work (in the case of the fandom forward organization?)
for “From the Harry Potter Alliance to fandom forward”: what was the method of the Harry Potter Alliance (HPA?) How does fandom forward continue? what exactly is “fandom”, “fan activism” etc? Why are so many members of fandom forward? Name prominent fandoms that they cover. how did fandom forward expand?
for “The power of community: The role of organized fan communities in collective action”: why exactly are fan communities so strong? what keeps them together? explain how fandom forward does their mobilization: from the training, over campaigns to community (its on their own webite, I will add a link to it).
for “reasons for the wide reach of fandom forward”: explain for 4.1 and 4.2 fittingly, why fandom forward has such a far reach among members of fandoms and pop culture.
for “results and influence”: 5.1: use most recents campaigns as example, but please also the mockingyay campaign from fandom forward for the hunger games. 5.2: what are problems in the movement? discrimination and hierachie abuse among fans and fan activist leaders of fandom forward? Is fandom forward a cult, because it influences its members with their training etc? 5.3: which movements were inspired? for the “conclusion”: It does work; fandom forward has a well made concept concept for fan activism to actively mobilise fans of popular culture to become more socially active citizens. the concept does seem a bit culty tho. fandom forward will probably still have grant success in the future, because their will be always problems to solve and injustice and oppression etc.
So, overall, ofc always properly cite all your sources like my works cited in that MLA style and dont write like a total pro and more like a stutent who wrote his first Hausarbeit.
