You are to

related to the political economy of your adopted country. Something that has
policy relevance. For this initial exercise, you are to write down the research
idea you want to explore in the form of a research question. Using the outline
below, write down a brief background of the research problem, state the
research question, express the significance of the problem, describe your
initial argument/theory as to what and how the issue operates, and explain how
you will go about finding evidence to support your argument. Print out your outline and bring
to class.
