The speech topic I choose is “Chinese gomoku or “Five in a row”. It is a chess game invented in China. We need to give the demo speech for the class and the speech should be 3-5 minutes so it can’t be long. Please help me to write the “preparation outline”(not the presentation outline) for the speech（topic as Chinese gomoku). The outline format is in the power point I attach. Please read the entire Power point to understand the instruction. Your each subpoint should only be 1-2 sentences long , the speech purposes and thesis shouldn’t be long as well. Make this outline as a real speech which means the words should be simple and it shouldn’t be as long as an essay(within 2 pages). I would bring paper prop to the class to show how to play and win the chess so make sure your outline include that part. You should also include at least one cite for the speech and include the cite within the speech.(further requirement see the power point attachment) #Important#: ” I need a Chinese tutor or a tutor who know Chinese gomoku!”
Demonstration Speech
Students will write and present a 3 – 5 minute demonstration speech on a topic they are familiar
with and can demonstrate to the class. Topics will be approved by the professor. The use of
props is required. Think of a topic that will interest the target audience (the class). A preparation
and presentation outline will be required for this speech. More details will be provided in class.
No weapons (guns, swords, ect.) are allowed in the classroom, no exceptions.
