Painting and Cubism
This discussion has two parts. Remember also to comment on the work of a colleague. Your total writing must be at least 200 words.
Part 1. Explain a term or concept you learned from the lesson painting.
Part 2. Cubism
Upload a photo of your cubist artwork and answer the questions below. Label your work and give it a title if you wish. For example: “Still Life 21” Materials: Cereal box and construction paper. In what ways did completing the artwork change your understanding of cubism?
This lesson introduces us to painting. As you take notes, focus on the key terms and concepts. It is NOT necessary to be able to recognize the paintings in your notes, but you should include specific information about two or three paintings that appeal to you the most. Turn on the captions because the painting slides are otherwise not labeled. Enjoy!
