Imagine that you are a manager of information technology working for your organization’s chief information officer and that they have approached you with a new project. For this new project, you are asked to support the chief marketing officer (CMO) in the creation of work instructions that the employees of your organization will use to create and post to the organization’s social media platform. The program is called The Social Media Ambassadors Initiative, and the CMO explains to you that they want to engage the organization’s employees in helping promote the great things about working for the organization and that the audience includes your customers, shareholders, and potential future employees.
In a 4-page MS Word document, create the instructions that employees will need to follow to set up and post to the organization’s Facebook account. Address the following:
In the directions on setup, define the actions to establish an account and set the most stringent privacy features.
In the instructions for making a post, define the process for making a written post, and provide guidelines for what is appropriate and inappropriate.
Define the process of uploading photographs and the policy that governs the use of photographs. Also, define the process to like a post and the process to edit and delete a post.
Ensure that the instructions that you provide are clear, are easy to follow, and contain explicit detail to enable a novice user to follow them.
