The Brooklyn Navy Yard internship program is designed to help students rise for the future. Based on my research the program is the perfect place for students to build themselves for the workplace and be ready for the future. One of the beautiful things about Brooklyn Navy Yard is its culture and diversity of it. I’m interested in the internship because there are wide opportunities for students to be connected to during the internship such as exploring our knowledge and getting more work experiences and the ethics of it. As an immigrant and a first-generation graduate, I want to be able to give back to my community, and society as a whole that I was giving to. I hope to improve my Leadership skill, have more networking, and have better career opportunities.
