Overview
In this assignment, you will assess the information systems/information technology (IS/IT) used in the supply chain management of your organization. Shi and Chan (2010) classified the development and applications of IS/IT in SCM into four main levels:
Level One – Transaction support IS/IT
Level Two – Integrated organizational IS/IT
Level Three – Information sharing and exchange IS/IT
Level Four – Internet-based SCM systems
You are to apply this information as you assess the IS/IT used in the supply chain management of your organization.
