Objective: The objective of the paper is to evaluate the benefits and disadvantages of BREXIT
The paper will start by introducing the EU as a trade union and how the UK was one the strongest countries to be in the trade union.
• Following this, the paper will evaluate how BREXIT caused immediate harm to the U.K. economy based on the recent GDP and trade data.
• Theories regarding Populism and Partisanship will be showcased with the help of various examples like the left-right divide in the UK.
• The paper will conclude by evaluating the free trade policy theories to understand that even though BREXIT took place as the relationship between the EU and the UK was parasitic; there must be some underlying economic benefits in regard to Liberalisation, Global Value Chains, etc. NOTE: Be sure to express how it is “parasitic”
